Recent development

A number of projects are already underway within the Widnes Waterfront programme area. For example, a great deal of work has already begun in order to determine, for example, the ground conditions and the extent of utility provision to the site, information which is vital in order to bring forward future developments.

Projects are also underway which will change the face of the programme area. For example, work has already begun on the delivery of an ambitious Landscape Strategy which will result in a dramatic uplift in the environmental quality of the area.
