Priority sites start construction at Turnstone Business Park
Source: Widnes Waterfront
Leading regeneration specialist, Priority Sites, has recently started construction work on Turnstone Business Park, a 60,000 sq ft (5,574 sq m) development of quality business space at Venture Fields.
The development, which sits alongside the Langtree Group’s 30,000 sq ft (2,787 sq m) development of managed office space, will include high quality office and hybrid accommodation, available to rent or buy, aimed at attracting up and coming SMEs to the Waterfront area.
Priority Sites has a nationwide and proven track record in delivering sustainable developments, which benefit local communities by providing jobs and regenerating areas of land that are ripe for redevelopment.
Contractors (Norwest Holst) have begun by piling foundations and will start to erect steel work over the coming weeks and months.
The build process is expected to take around twelve months and the first businesses could be moving into their new accommodation by March 2008.
Development Director at Priority Site, John Boanas said: “We are already receiving a high level of enquiries from prospective occupiers and are delighted to be making such positive strides towards
the regeneration of the Waterfront. We’re very confident that when completed this development will become a thriving hub of commercial activity that will have a significant impact on the local economy.”
